Qualifications 

  • A Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Labour Welfare or similar discipline is needed.
  • The candidate must be well-versed with labour and employee-related laws such as the Factories Act, ESI, Gratuity Act, Shops and Establishments Act, EPF, etc.
  • Must be able to address IR issues and manage union interactions. 
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in handling 1-2 employee death cases and their complete benefit disbursal.

Experience

We’re seeking candidates who have at least 4-7 years of experience in Compliance, Payroll, and Industrial Relations.

The individual must be passionate about managing HR operations like payroll processing, industrial relations and statutory compliance. Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete payroll process with precision while adhering to all the statutory norms and company standards. 
  • Handle labour licenses and ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws. 
  • Address employee grievances, IR issues, and disciplinary cases effectively. 
  • Collaborate with government authorities for audits, inspections, and statutory compliance matters.
  • Handle interactions with the union, facilitate negotiations, and promote industrial harmony and peace. 
  • Coordinate and manage sensitive matters such as on-duty and off-duty employee fatalities with complete benefits like ESI, gratuity, PF, and insurance claims.
  • Prepare and issue show-cause notices, PIPs and warning letters in accordance with the company policy.
  • Keep all statutory registers and documents up to date to meet audit and legal requirements.
