Revolutionizing Access to Animal Care
Animals can’t ask for help, but they need it all the same. Zenplus Private Limited, in partnership with the Animal Husbandry Department, operates 92 Mobile Veterinary Units (MVUs) across 14 districts in Western Uttar Pradesh. This initiative aims at bridging the gap in veterinary healthcare services, especially in rural and underserved areas. It ensures animals receive quality healthcare at their doorstep, promoting both animal health and community well-being.
These fully equipped mobile units provide critical on-site medical care, vaccinations, emergency treatment, and sterilization for domestic and stray animals. Staffed by a veterinarian, para-veterinarian, and a helper, our MVUs ensure reliable and timely care for all animals. These services operate in a hybrid model, with 50% working on pre-set routes and 50% managing on-demand requests through the 1962 toll-free number. The units that operate on pre-set routes address diseased or injured animals along the way, whereas the rest cater to emergencies and requests routed through a centralized call center operating the 1962 toll-free number.
Animals get access to high-quality treatment at the location itself, eliminating challenges such as logistical issues, finding reliable veterinary clinics, etc. It is highly beneficial, especially in rural or remote areas where finding the right help for animals or transporting them to veterinary clinics can be challenging. Additionally, the doctors and professionals that accompany the MVU are well-trained to diagnose, treat, and manage various veterinary emergencies.
Zenplus aims at removing barriers like transportation challenges and focuses on enhancing animal health, welfare, and community well-being through mobile veterinary units. It also helps address critical concerns like disease prevention, which have a severe impact on community health and safety. By providing timely medical care to animals, MVUs actively contribute to a healthier and safer environment for animals and communities alike.
